Wrexham Web Design builds websites that work for small businesses. From our base in Ruabon, near Wrexham, we work with companies across North Wales and the UK. Our clients range from executive chauffeurs to organic farmers, and from counsellors to footcare specialists.
To give small businesses a first-class website without the jargon or the big-agency price tag. Every site is secure, mobile-friendly and compliant with UK regulations, and packages start at £595.
We work with experienced copywriters, designers and developers to bring your vision to life. That covers the design, the words and the technical set-up, including SSL, backups and green hosting.
We were named Brand Identity Excellence Award winner 2026 – North Wales and Best SME Web Design Agency 2026 – North Wales at the SME News Welsh Enterprise Awards.
Hi, I’m Julia, the person behind Wrexham Web Design.
I’ve been helping small businesses get online, look professional and make sense of the digital world for many years. I run Wrexham Web Design as part of my own business, Ellis Chaplin Limited, and I’m based in Wrexham, North Wales.
I work mainly with small businesses, sole traders and organisations who want a website that looks good, works properly and, most importantly, helps their business.
I know that running a small business means doing a bit of everything. One minute you’re dealing with customers, the next you’re doing the accounts, writing social media posts, answering emails and trying to work out why your website has suddenly stopped doing something it did yesterday. I understand, because I’m a small business owner too.
My approach is simple. I listen to what you actually need, explain things without jargon and create websites designed around your business, rather than forcing your business into a template.
I also have a strong creative background, with experience in art, jewellery making, textiles and other practical crafts. That creative side shapes how I approach web design: thinking about colour, composition, typography, imagery and how everything works together to communicate who you are.
But good design isn’t just about making something look pretty. Your website needs a purpose. It should make it easy for the right people to understand what you do, trust you and take the next step.
Whether you need a brand-new website, a refresh of an existing one, help with content or someone to make sense of the technical bits, I’m here to make the process as easy as possible.
I’m proud to work with businesses in Wrexham and across North Wales, as well as clients further afield.
Good websites don’t have to be complicated. They just need to work for you.
